About ombudsman
The Municipal Ombudsman deals with complaints about municipal organisations or persons for which the city is responsible. He examines whether you’ve been helped correctly by a civil servant or organisation.
If you are not satisfied with the way a municipal organisation has dealt with a complaint, you can see the ombudsman. A complaint may be about a permit, an appeal against a decision, or unclear legislation, for example.
The ombudsman is not qualified to deal with complaints relating to consumer issues, housing associations or non-municipal institutions such as the police or the CWI.
